Project Manager
Salary:40K to 45K, DOE
Location:Tiverton, Devon.
Type of role:Permanent, Full-time.
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to manage client relationships, project planning, and execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and budgetary goals. A commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality solutions is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of renewable energy projects, including:
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Conducting site visits and surveys to gather project-specific data
- Developing detailed project plans and managing timelines
- Coordinating labour resources and securing subcontractor quotes
- Monitoring costs and managing budgets effectively
- Assisting in project design and creating/updating CAD drawings
- Ensuring all necessary accreditations, permissions, and safety standards are met
- Developing parts lists and overseeing procurement
- Coordinate and support onsite repairs when required.
- Work with the sales team to prepare quotations for existing and prospective clients.
- Manage and oversee the activities of project engineers.
- Provide technical assistance in-office and onsite as needed.
- Assist with the administration of group accreditations and quality management systems.
- Maintain accurate records across relevant databases.
- Submit timesheets and expense claims in line with company policies.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field (preferred).
- In the absence of formal qualification relevant experience will be considered
- Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawings.
- Certifications in health and safety or willingness to obtain.
- Proven experience managing renewable energy or technical projects from concept to completion.
- Strong skills in client relations, site surveys, budgeting, and procurement.
- Familiarity with accreditations, compliance standards, and project documentation.
